Welcome to the ACG 2022 ePoster Hall

ACG is excited to be able to host over 3,600 accepted scientific poster abstracts via an online site this year. All attendees of ACG 2022 can browse the virtual ePoster Hall to view high-quality digital versions of the print posters, many of which include audio recordings by the presenters. The ePoster Hall site will remain open after the ACG 2022 meeting. (NOTE: the ePoster Wall Gallery of digital posters will open on Sunday, October 23 at 12:00 pm ET.)

Using the ePoster Hall

  • SEARCH - Use the menu at the left to search by title, author, category, etc. Clicking on a title or author name will open a new page where you can click the ePoster image to view it, and if the author has recorded audio, it will play automatically.
  • VIEW - Click the ePoster Wall Gallery to view all of the digital ePosters. Zoom in on details (or pinch in/out with a touch screen device), and use the Search bar to search by author name, affiliation, poster title, and keywords.
  • CONTACT AUTHOR - To send a question or comment directly to an author, click a poster title to view the poster, then click the author’s name to open a new window and use the blue Email button in the lower right to contact them. Authors without a button did not provide an email address.

ACG Awards and Special Recognition

Award recipients are identified by blue ribbon badges. Winners of named and category awards, as well as recipients of Presidential Poster Awards, are chosen by the ACG Abstract Selection Committee based on scores and merit of qualifying abstracts submitted, and the criteria for each award. Each year approximately 5% of accepted abstracts receive Presidential Poster Award distinction for high quality, novel, unique and interesting research.

Outstanding Poster Presenters are identified by red ribbon badges. This extremely popular aspect of the Annual Meeting, with a special emphasis on GI Fellow and Resident presenters, aims to foster the development of critical storytelling and presentation skills that are essential for a career as a clinical investigator and scientific communicator. During the daily Poster Rounds, poster presenters in Charlotte gave a succinct and informative two-minute briefing on their research for an Expert Faculty Judge. Those determined best able to communicate their key findings, the significance of their data, and the potential impact of their work for clinicians and patients, were recognized with a red ribbon awarded on-site, and a certificate of recognition after the meeting.

ACG 2022 Embargo Policy

All research presented at ACG 2022 is strictly embargoed until 12:00 pm ET on Sunday, October 23, 2022. The embargo policy means that no news, information, results of any abstract or research finding can be released to the media or published before Sunday, October 23 at 12:00 pm ET. This embargo includes revealing anything about the results (including the title of the abstract, since the title often indicates the finding) in a press release or “curtain raiser.” If you have questions, please email ACG Media Staff at mediaonly@gi.org.
